A couple weeks ago I had the chance to hang out with Matt Forney for the evening. He graciously invited me to be interviewed on his podcast, which was an interesting time as we set up impromptu shop with a mic at 9 pm on a Friday. The few other times I’ve done podcasts were with friends with only the vaguest sense of an agenda, so most of the time was spent riffing and having fun. This was much more businesslike in a more traditional interview approach. I think it would be a lot of fun to be one of the three monkeys in the room with Matt and a co-host in a less formal environment – he’s a really sharp guy with a dry, quick wit. As we settled in after recording at a pub, we talked books, hitchhiking, manosphere stuff, relationships, drugs, alcohol, and life drama as the gansta rap in the background tried to drown out our conversation. Fun night.
